As someone who has been a devoted fan of J.R.R. Tolkien since childhood, I’ve always felt deeply connected to the worlds he created. Whether it was wandering through the forests of Lothlórien in my imagination or marveling at the journey of Frodo and Sam, his stories have had a profound impact on me. Now, watching season 2 of The Rings of Power is like reliving that magic all over again. The show’s ability to capture the essence of Middle-earth, with its sweeping landscapes and the intricate lore drawn from era of The Silmarillion and Appendix A and Appendix B in The Lord of the Rings, feels like a beautiful tribute to Tolkien’s legacy. It’s a thrill to see these new interpretations of his stories, bringing to life the richness and complexity of the world he spent decades creating. Every episode takes me back to why I fell in love with Tolkien’s work in the first place.
